What helps most in a bug report
The links above open your email program with a few prompts already filled in. Answering them saves a round trip:
- Which page you were on, and which control you used.
- The format and rough length of the file.
- Your browser and operating system.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
Please do not attach the audio file. It is rarely needed, and this site is built on the principle that your recordings stay with you.
There is no form here on purpose
A form would need a server to receive it, and this site does not have one — which is the same reason your audio is never uploaded. Email keeps that promise intact, and it means you keep a copy of what you sent.
