What it does
Plays a file backwards: the last moment comes first and the first comes last. Reverse a whole song, a single word, or a cymbal hit for the classic swelling “reverse crash”.
How to reverse audio
- Open your file.
- Trim the selection to the part you want; only that part is exported.
- The selection plays reversed. Press Play to hear it.
- Export the result.
Is anything lost?
No. Reversing uses exactly the same samples in the opposite order. Any quality change comes from re-encoding on export, so choose WAV or FLAC to keep it perfect.
